What a year 2020 is turning out to be. On top of the global pandemic, those of us on the West coast are experiencing devastating wildfires. In our home state of Oregon, about 1 million acres of our beautiful beloved forests have burned along with nearly 2000 homes and another 1400 structures. Fortunately, rain is in our forecast so we are hopeful. We are deeply grateful to firefighters from all over the country and even Mexico who are risking so much to help us ... and are thankful for the Red Cross and other organizations, friends and neighbors caring for those whose homes are lost.

Despite our heavy hearts in the current moment, we look forward to 2021 with hope that we can be together in a creative, healthy and nurturing environment. Our retreats for 2021 are scheduled ... yea ... and listed on the retreats page.

Welcome to Delia Smith, our newest Pine Needle teacher! Delia's passion is improv quilt making which she loves to explore with her students. She is teaching at our Idaho Dude Ranch quilting adventure May 2021.

We hope you continue to find joy in your sewing and are finishing up some UFOs, starting some new projects, exploring new areas of creative expression and maybe even making a dent in your stash! Be safe ... we miss you and cannot wait to see you in 2021.

Fondly,
Geri
