About Us
The Pine Needle opened its doors in 1992 in Lake Oswego, Oregon, offering quality quilting fabrics, patterns, notions, and classes. After nearly 26 years, Geri Grasvik, the owner, decided it was time to retire ... from the "bricks and mortar" store. But sitting idle wasn't the plan!
The Pine Needle Quilt Shop is known for fun, informative, and exciting quilting retreats. Geri, along with quilting teacher Pam Raby, are focusing all their energy on offering you great new retreats at spectacular locations throughout the Pacific NW.
New in 2021 is a quilting adventure in Ashland Oregon, home of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. We can't wait! Also in 2021, we are returning to several beloved locations: a Dude Ranch in Idaho, Flathead Lake in Montana and Leavenworth and Hood Canal in Washington. Our talented teaching staff has expanded and now includes Linda Fisher, Vickie Pierson and Pam Raby.
Our retreats fill quickly so be sure to add your name to our mailing list for the earliest announcements.
